On Tuesday, Rosie and Irene and I skied the super-scenic Grand Targhee.
Mountains far off in Idaho:
This mountain looks like a flat-topped mesa, but it must be some sort of mirage effect:

Rosie and Irene.
If you end up in an avalanche or falling off one of the 200-300 foot cliffs beyond this gate, you can't say you weren't warned.
Rosie bootpacking up Mary's Nipple, an inbounds hike-to area.
Main area of the resort, Fred's Mountain, in the background.
I was there too.
The drive back down the access road.
