Today Rosie and I hiked up to Surprise Lake and Amphitheater Lake. Solid afternoon, 10 miles and 3000 vert.
Bumper sticker of the day. Seems to be by hunters who are anti-ATVs but I think we can all agree on the sentiment.
Bradley and Taggart Lakes. An easier hike than Sabbatus, might be a good one to do with Nick and Eileen.

Looks like termites were inside this tree, then a hungry bear ripped open the tree to eat the termites.

Finished up in the later afternoon. Here, relaxing at Dornan's, classic place to get a beer and a bite after hiking/climbing/skiing/biking in the park. We were soon joined by Rosie's parents, and friends Russ and Karen.
