Around the park, and the Stagecoach Bar

On Sunday night we went to the Stagecoach in Wilson.

Hot air balloon with a jackalope on it coming for a landing after a morning cruise...or float...or drift.

String Lake the next day or so.

Sweet hats, ladies.

We are a family of forest gnomes.

A fire affected this area and gouged out rounded patterns in these tress, only on one side of each tree. I think it's either because termites preferentially infested that side of each tree for some reason, like more favorable sun or wind, which weakened the wood and allowed it to burn away. Or maybe when the fire was burning, a wind was blowing which caused it to burn hotter on the upwind side and thus carved out the wood there.

Mt Moran in the background.

Signal Mountain Lodge, and Skillet Glacier.

We went up to see the Gros Ventre slide too, and swam in Lower Slide Lake.

An osprey photographed by my dad.
