Monday night we went to the Hootenanny, a local music event which grew out of a series of gatherings in the late 60's (?), of which Moe and Irene were original attendees. Dozens of local musicians gather at Dornan's, in the southern end of GTNP, and take turns playing country, bluegrass, blues, and some adaptations of recent music as well. Summer, outdoors, winter, indoors.
